"Machine" is a song originally composed, performed, recorded, and released by Regina Spektor. The song was first released on the LP Far, released on 2009-06-23. "Machine" was previously unknown, as its first performance was just a few days before the release of Far at the Beacon Theatre on 2009-06-17. A subsequent live performance was performed, recorded, and released as part of the live LP Live in London, released in 2010.
"Machine" was performed extensively between 2009 and 2010 in support of the Far tour. After a single performance in 2011, it was not played again until 2018, with its last performance on 2018-08-22 at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.
