This show served as the opening night of the "Songs (and Other Songs)" performances, a string of three sold-out shows focused on performing every song on the self-released 2002 CD Songs, which had recently been remastered and made available on streaming and vinyl for the first time on 2024-11-26. The "Songs (and Other Songs)" performances ocurred from 2024-12-08 through 2024-12-10 at Warsaw in Brooklyn, NY, with the short tour eventually expanding to include dates in Chicago, IL and Los Angeles, CA in 2025. This show is notable as the first time Regina has played an entire album in whole, the first time she has played an entire album in order (with the usual live show closer "Samson" being performed first), and also the first known live performance "Oedipus" and "December", with many of the Songs-era songs performed for the first time in over 20 years. The song "December" was included on the setlist, as this series of shows was performed in early December, serendipitously when December started on a Sunday.
